Let’s face it — puppies are irresistibly adorable, but those first few weeks can be hard. Between sharp little teeth, tiny bladders, endless chewing, and sleepless nights, it can feel like a full-time job.

That’s where I come in. I absolutely love working with puppies, and my Puppy Academy board & train program is designed to make those first months smoother for both you and your pup.

Whether your puppy is from my own breeding program or another breeder, they can now enroll in our premium, in-home training program. We welcome puppies starting at 8 weeks old and up to around 6 months of age.

Puppies live in my home as part of the family, getting daily training sessions, socialization, and guidance from my well-mannered adult dogs. These calm canine role models help shape good behavior naturally. I only take a very limited number of puppies at a time to ensure individual attention and quality training, so booking in advance with a deposit is essential.

When you pick up your puppy, we’ll have a hands-on transfer training session so you know exactly how to keep up their progress at home. I’ll also send you home with a detailed guide for maintaining their training and continuing their development.

All of my work is done using positive reinforcement and marker training — think clicker training but with a verbal marker. I am a certified dog trainer with a Certificate in Training & Counseling (CTC) from the renowned Academy for Dog Trainers, and I have personally raised and trained many puppies over the years. I am also an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

With the solid foundation I provide — from crate and potty training to early obedience and social skills — your puppy will come home calmer, more confident, and ready to succeed. That means a smoother transition for them, and a happier start for your whole family. Please Note: While with us your puppy will have a conceptual understanding and a great head start on all the skills listed above. However, every puppy is unique and all puppies have a short attention span just like toddlers! For instance, your puppy will learn basic potty training while with us, but exposure to a new home with new surfaces may create initial confusion for the puppy, so you’ll have to reinforce what he has learned at our home and maybe get additional support from a local trainer once you get home and are ready to build on. Our goal is that your puppy will understand the concepts and the meaning of commands so that he or she will respond well to your continuous education when home with you.
