Lacey is a Glory/Hutch daughter

Update: 09/30/10 - Lacey: 1-1/2 years old.
It’s been awhile since we’ve checked in, so just thought I’d let you
know how Lacey is doing. Lacey continues
to entertain us, our extended family, and friends with her sweet
personality and silly antics. We just seem to love her more and
more all the time. Her favorite thing in the world is a long hike
to the river and then some swim time. She is such a great traveler
and goes everywhere with us. We have been training Lacey for her
AKC Canine Good Citizenship test, and tonight was the night – She passed
with flying colors! Terri & Ed

Update: 9/13/2009 - Hi
Sandy - I hope everything is going well with all your puppies. Lacey is doing
great. We have just had a wonderful summer with her playing at the river
and camping. She goes two days a week for a few hours to a
doggie daycare and plays with lots of other dogs. She started out as one
of two puppies and now there are nine - everything from a little
hound dog to a Great Dane. The woman who runs the daycare
program also has an Agility course set up for fun. She has done really
well with that and loves to go play on Saturday mornings. Her favorite
things to play are tug-a-war and chase the water hose -
anything that has to do with water. She is a joy. Terri & Ed

Sandy -
Once you get me started, I just can’t say enough about how fun this
puppy has been. Thanks so much for all you do with these little guys
BEFORE we even get them. I’m learning more and more how important those
first few months are and how much there is to do! We’re loving it. What
an incredible two months it has been with our Lacey. We’ve never had a GSD
before and amazed at how smart she is and how fast she learns.
She is four months old, and she fits into our family as if she’s
always been here. We have so enjoyed watching the colors of her coat and
her eyes change as she grows older. We’ve spent lots of time going to
new places, meeting new people, and playing with other puppies. Everyone stops to tell her what a beauty she is.
She knows sit, stay, down, out, and works very hard to “leave
it,” as in our three cats. Her
favorite treat is a squirt of Cheez Whiz. She’s been really good about
chewing on her own toys and bones with only an occasional attempt at
stealing someone’s shoe. She loves to play in water – her water bowl,
a hose, the garden sprinklers, and now the little plastic pond in our
backyard. We took her camping at
Yosemite
and she loved running through the tall grassy meadow in the morning and
experienced her first sandy creek. She loves to play with a peanut butter
and kibble filled Kong and brings it to us to fill when it’s empty.
She’s learning to play fetch and release and loves to go for walks –
everything outdoors. She is incredibly social and so smart. We look
forward to what she has for us next! Terri

Marley is a Glory/Hutch daughter

6/13/2010 - Hey Sandy, We recently went camping by the Kern River, we
had a blast and so did our girl, Marley. We wanted to send you some
updated pictures of her. Hope all is well. Amy and Family

Hi Sandy, We Love our puppy so much, you dont know how greatful we are to
have gotten such a great dog from you. Marley has surpassed our
expectations. She is the best dog we have had. She has no problem letting
our 3 yr old daughter jump all over her, she has never groweled at her,
but she is very protective. She has to be right next to our daughter when
we take her out for walks. We have received so many compliments on her. I
have attached a few of the most recent pictures of Marley for you. (We
named her Marley because she was so mellow when we picked her up from you
it made us think of Bob Marley, not the movie). Thanks, Amy and Family |

Harley is a Glory/Ben son

Update: 9/09/2008 - Hi
Sandy: Thought
I would send you some recent pictures of Harley. He's doing fantastic!
He weighs in at 90 lbs (although he thinks he's still a little pup!) and
is standing at just about 29 in. His head looks over our kitchen
counter! He trys hard to be a lap dog but the only thing that will fit
on my lap is his head! I can't tell you how many people are amazed at
the size of him. He's quite the big boy! I've even had several people
ask me if he was part wolf. Had his annual check up the other day and
has a clean bill of health! He's half way done with protection training
and has mastered all the commands! As you can see from the
pictures, he and my son have a special bond. He's an absolute pleasure
to have around. Still enjoy browsing through your website. Harley may
need a little friend sometime in the near future!
Take care, Tracy

3/04/2007 - Hi
Sandy, Just
wanted to send you a couple of updated pictures of Harley. He is doing
very well. I can't believe he is coming up on his 1 year birthday already!
Time does surely fly! He loves to be outside with all the kids. I
wasn't sure if I had mentioned this to you in any of my e-mails before,
but we actually have some of the neighborhood kids coming to our door and
asking if Harley could come outside to play! They play soccer with him and
Harley attempts to play basketball. Once he gets that ball the game is
on!! Aside from his playfulness, he is very protective of our family.
Anyway,
hope all is well with you and glad to see all the beautiful pups on your
website.

8/21/2006 - Hey Sandy,
Just a note to tell you how happy we are
that Harley came into our lives! What an awesome dog he is turning out
to be! He is a very sweet boy and extremely intelligent! He's
great with all the neighborhood kids as well as our own! We put him
in boarding this last weekend at the same place he is taking his puppy
kindergarten classes since my husband and I went out of town and
the man that runs the kennels said that Harley was the most beautiful
German Shepherd he has ever seen and that he had awesome markings!! Of
course I had to agree! Much luck
with your future litters..........we check out your website from time to
time to see the new pups.....you never know....there may be another one
in our future!!! Tracy

Zeus is a Mona/Ben son

Zeus is a great addition to our family. His temperament is great and he
loves people and other dogs. We have a new born baby now and he keeps an
eye on her when he is in the house with us. He is very smart he knows all
the names of his toys and our friends. He loves to go for rides in the car
and going to work with Cody. We are teaching him to find people. He also
loves playing tug of war and hide n go seek in the house. We can't keep
him out of the water, whether its in the bath tub, hose or river. He was
unsure of the river at first but once he got in it there was no getting
him out. He played in the snow this winter and loved jumping around in it.
When we take him places we don't have to tie him up, he knows his
boundaries and stays within them. He is absolutely awesome, we thank you
very much. Cody & Heidi |

Ben is a Lexi/Spike son

Update: 9/18/2008 - Hi
Sandy, Here are a few pics of our big guy. Ben is as handsome
as ever, always full of energy and a quick learner. Ben has
become a special part of our life and is a faithful and true
protector of his family. He loves balls and is willing to do just
about anything for one............Ben had his check up last week with the
Veterinarian and is in perfect health. We get compliments all the
time about how handsome he is. Thank you for keeping in touch.
Will send updates again soon. The Graves Family

Sandy, Just a
little note to let you know how happy we are with our new addition (Ben).
He was the dark blue boy from the Lexi and Spike litter. Ben is such a
wonderful, happy, loving companion. Everywhere we go we get compliments on
how handsome he is. Our 6 year old son and Ben are buddies but I have to
say he is a Mommy's boy at heart I call him "my shadow". He loves the
water so if the hose is on you can't keep him out of it. Ben is a quick
learner and picks up on everything immediately. We can't imagine not
having him as part of our family. Thank you so much. Sincerely, The Graves

Max is a Glory/Ben son
_small.jpg)
2/06/2008 - Hi Sandy, Here are some updated pictures of that little dog
with the kitten on your web-site. As you can see, Max (Sprague's
Maximum Ride, OFA Good) has turned into a handsome young
dog! His second birthday is soon and he has grown to around 90
pounds. He is a very calm, sweet, big boy. He really likes the
ladies too! Not only has he sired two litters already, but he is my
wife's constant companion. He goes everywhere with her and gets sad
if she leaves the house without him. All the girls at the vet's
office love him. We are very pleased and happy that Max ended up
with us. I know he had a tough beginning, but everything has worked
out just fine. He has the run of the house and the yard and lets
everyone walking by know he is around! We look forward to watching
him grow, mature, and spend the rest of his days with us. Lewie

Tofu is a Mona/Ben daughter

Hey Sandy, Tofu loves water now. Before she was afraid to take
her bath, but now she loves it and even chases the water as it's sprayed at
her. She trys to drink as much as she can as it comes flowing out.
She's becoming very obedient and stays with us even off the leash (most
times). We're very happy with her temperament! As she gets older
we can tell that her demeanor changes and becomes more mellow.
Thanks! More
pictures to come at a later date :) Aaron & Family

Krystal is a Glory/Ben daughter

Update: 10/30/2008 - Here is Krystal at age 2. She weighs in at
83 pounds. She is a complete social butterfly, and loves being
around her immediate family, as well as all her friends. She is very
obedient, and respects what she is being told. I'm amazed regularly
about her intelligence. Her brain is like a sponge, and she absorbs
things so very fast. She even learns things that I never really
intended to teach her, just by observing a situation. She is the
only dog on my street, and the neighborhood kids adore her, and she loves
play time with them. She loves her home in the Bay Area, but also
loves visiting family in Tahoe. And she loves swimming in Donner
Lake. All her siblings look great, Thank you so much.

9/18/2006 - Hello Sandy,
Just wanted to update you on how Krystal has been doing. She is
incredibly smart and knows all basic obedience, plus 13 fun tricks.
We are always complimented on her beautiful coloring and are so grateful
to have her in our lives. She is the youngest and the smartest in
her intermediate class. And hope to have her trained as a therapy
dog and agility dog. We think that all of her siblings look great,
and can't believe how much she and her brother Harley look identically
alike. She loves interacting with her friends at the dog park and
hopefully someday she can meet up with some of her siblings and parents.
She is very loved and spoiled, especially since her mommy works at a
doggy boutique. We will keep you updated on her progress. Thanks
again, Dan and Amber |

home. Thanks again, Suzanne

Kimo is a Glory/Ben son

10/22/2006 - Hi Sandy, We thought we would give you a quick update on
Kimo. He is
super smart and was potty trained in a couple of weeks. We started out
crating him at night in our bedroom, but after a month he was just
sleeping on the floor. He knows all the basic commands, but he still needs
obedience training, WE start next week. All summer long I would take him
in the pool with me, and teach him to swim for the stairs. He's perfected
it now, so we don't have to worry if he falls in when were not home. Even
though he was only 6 months old, we know how protective/territoral he can
be. We went out to dinner one Saturday night and came home and found out
that someone tried to break into our house. Our side gate was open and our
master bath screen was on the ground. Nothing was taken from our house, so
we know Kimo must have chased them off because the gate to the dog run
was closed like they were trying to protect themselves from him. Anyway,
enough rambling about our baby. We love the pictures of Harley and Krystal,
Glory and Ben had one good looking litter!!! Regards, Tony

Casey is a Glory/Ben son

Casey stayed with us for a month while his owners went out of the
country. He was 7 months old when he stayed here and the pictures above
are some of the pictures we took of him during his stay with us. This is
what his owners John & Helga have to say about Casey:
"Casey is now almost 10 months old and is a lover of everyone - dogs,
cats, kids and grown up people. He is getting big, 26" at the
shoulder and 80 pounds, and he has an enormous amount of lighthearted,
amiable energy. He started obedience training this month and is
doing well, at least until another dog shows up. The most frequent
comment we get from strangers is "He's so beautiful. I love the
color." Our granddaughter, age 3, is Casey's best friend.
With her he puts aside his adolescent wildness and follows, loving
to be ordered around." |

Koby is a Glory/Ben son

11/16/2006 - Hi Sandy,
Just dropping you a note, as well as a couple of pictures of Koby. He’s
7 months old in these pictures. He’s the best dog ever! He’s so smart
it isn’t funny! He is going through group training as well as individual
training. His instructor loves him very much! He goes for a 2 mile walk
with my Dad every day and loves it. We go to the doggy park as much as
possible and he has made several new friends to play with. Two of
his friends are also german shepherd’s “Jack & Venus”. When they
are playing, nothing else matters!!!
He’s been on several out of town trips with me, some in my motorhome and
some by car and has done very well! He loves to travel! He just
experienced what a cow and jack rabbit are like and was kind of unsure of
them! He’s learning!!!! I love him dearly and of course he’s spoiled.
He love’s to sleep with me on the bed but will go into his kennel when
needed. He keeps me busy!!!!!!
Anyway, I’ll send you more pictures as he grows up. Thanks again for a
wonderful companion!!!!!!!!!!

Pacha and Louie are Mona/Ben puppies

Update: 2/07/2008 - Hi
Sandy, The pups are doing good! They are both so wonderful, and yet with
such different personalities. Pacha is very brave. They are both afraid of
swimming, but she'll swim in order to get a stick- Louie just whines, he
he. Louie is cuddly, but his sharp mind is probably his best quality. Our
trainer said that if he wasn't neutered he'd be police dog material. He is
amazingly smart, talkative, playful, and loves Frisbee. Pacha can also
play Frisbee. Her favorite activity is cuddling- sometimes I think she is
a cat :) She is very sensitive. When Louie coughs she stares at him for a
while to make sure he is OK. She is super fast too- like a gray hound.
They both can run next to a bike, heel, and all that good stuff. Thanks
for checking in! Shayna

From the looks of them you would never guess Pacha and Louie are brother
and sister, but they both inherited an amazing amount of affection,
playfulness, quick learning abilities, and sibling love. Pacha is the
dominant one of the two, and loves to be at our feet or cuddling on the
couch at all times. Louie has an award winning nose (he can sniff out any
treats we hide) and prefers to be held on one's lap for about 30 seconds
before he goes off to find his next toy. It is amazing how smart they are-
they seem to know just what we want from them, and I must say, I never
knew German shepherds were so cuddly. Thanks Sandy! We love them, our home
wouldn't be the same without them. |

Max is Lexi/Hutch son

Hello
Sandy, This is Max from the Lexi/Hutch litter
born April 10. It is funny to see pictures of his brothers and sisters
and see that they do the same things as Max does. Max loves to throw his
food dish around after he is done eating so at the next meal I have to
search for it. He is a very well behaved part of the family and I
couldn't imagine having any other dog and buddy then him. At almost 6
months he is now 70 pounds. Max loves to play soccer and fetch with his
baseball. There will be more pictures to come
as he grows. Rich |
